Sindh High Court Jobs 2023
The Sindh High Court is a high court located in the southern province of Sindh, Pakistan. It is subordinate to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Sindh High Court was established on October 1, 1973, when it replaced the Civil Courts Ordinance, of 1961. The Sindh High Court comprises two divisions – the civil and criminal divisions. The Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court is appointed by the President of Pakistan upon the nomination of a committee comprising three judges from both the Supreme Court of Pakistan and one judge each from two other high courts.
Sindh High Court Vacancies 2023
The Sindh High Court currently has vacancies up to 2023. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced a notification for the recruitment of 190 judicial officers in the Sindh High Court. A total of 1,050 candidates have been invited to appear in the written examination.
Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be required to appear in an interview. Candidates who are selected for an interview will be required to produce evidence of good character and eligibility to become a judicial officer. The selection process will be based on merit and qualifications.

The Sindh High Court is the highest in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It was established on 7 October 2003 and commenced operations on 1 November 2003. The Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court is Justice Agha, Siraj Durrani. The current Chief Justice is Justice Faisal, Aziz Siddiqui. As of September 2018, the court has a total of 56 judges including the Chief Justice, comprising: two Judges ad hoc, 29 Permanent Judges, and 11 Special Judges.

Sindh High Court Administration 2023
The Sindh High Court Administration (SHCA) is the administrative arm of the Sindh High Court. It oversees court affairs, including administration, finances, human resources, and court information technology. The SHCA also advises the Sindh Chief Justice on judicial matters.
The SHCA was established in 1993 and is headquartered in Karachi. It has five divisions: general administration, finance, human resources, information technology, and court services. The division responsible for court administration employs 50 personnel.
The SHCA provides support to the judiciary through its courts services division which manages courthouse facilities, provides security and logistical assistance to judges and staff, manages registry services, and maintains records of civil proceedings. The courts service division also oversees legal aid programs that provide free or subsidized legal assistance to low-income individuals who cannot afford a lawyer.
In addition to its court-related duties, the SHCA operates several other departments including public relations, information department, housing department, and motor vehicle department. The SHCA is funded by the provincial government through taxes collected from courts and law firms in Pakistan.
